Landscape photography is what originally got me passionate about photography. In the early days, I made many trips to Rocky Mountain National Park with my Nikon 8008s and then Pentax 645, learning to see and work with light. In many ways, landscape photography and architectural photography are similar—both rely on patience, thoughtful composition, and an understanding of how form interacts with its environment.
While most of my current work is commercial, I make time each year to focus on landscape photography—looking for a sense of stillness, structure, and the way light defines the scene.
These are some of my favorites. Prints are available through my online print shop in a variety of sizes and framing options, including acrylic and metal prints for commercial spaces. I also wrote a short article on how landscape photography can add interest and a sense of calm to healthcare and commercial spaces.
